LVFD Assists Glen Cove at Konica Fire

The LVFD was called out to assist the Glen Cove Fire Department on Monday evening as they battled a blaze at the Konica Minolta building on Charles Street. LVFD Engine 544 was requested to standby at Glen Cove Fire Headquarters to assist with any additional alarms. The GCFD was also assisted by the Sea Cliff and Glenwood Fire Departments, along with Glen Cove EMS and Jericho Fire Department EMS. Engine 544 stood by for about 2 hours before returning to service in Locust Valley.
